Anne is the Choir's Chairlady, accompianist and assistant MD.
Russell, the King's Lynn Male Voice Choir's Musical Director.
We meet once a week to rehearse on a Wednesday night at Kings Lynn Academy, Kings Lynn (see map below) between 19:00 and 21:00, during our season that starts in September and finishes around the end of May. During the season we perform concerts at different venues around the local area that we put on ourself and also at the request of others. These include our regular Christmas and Spring concerts, singing once or twice a year in the SNCO's Mess at RAF Marham, The Free Masons and participating in local events.
We are also available to sing at Weddings, Funerals and other events which, in the past, have included the opening of buildings, the turning on of Christmas lights and singing at the King's Lynn Corn exchange for the Queen's Diamond Jubilee celebrations.
We have an ever-growing repertoire of music that covers many genres from traditional choral music to modern day songs, classic hymns, numbers from the shows and many others in between. We are a merry bunch of men and with Anne accompanying us and Russell leading, we always give our all when we perform.
If you think you would like to come and join us then come along on a Wednesday night or go to the contact page for a list of people who can give you more information. We are a non audition choir, you just need to be male, be able to hold a tune and enjoy singing. If you are not sure where you would fit into a male voice choir then Russell would be happy to assess your range and slot you in to one of our four vocal sections.
